When does a drawer work?
The inner tray slides from a sleeve, revealing the product in stages. Plan a place to grip it and a way to remove the product.

When choose a separate lid?
Lifting the lid reveals everything at once. This may suit a set meant to be seen together; allow space to put the lid down.
Lid depth and base height change the closed appearance. Begin with the dimensions of the contents.
What does an attached lid change?
The lid stays joined to the base while opening. Check the direction, space behind the box and where the logo should appear.
